Running Man

Posted by Dr. Steve on Monday, February 1st, 2010 · Comments (9)

This is another balance and coordination move that will make your walking and running a much smoother process.  This is also CRITICAL for knee, hip, and low back problems.  It’s one I personally do every day to maintain my one leg balance and strength. Download Video Download PDF

Loaded Hip Stretch

Posted by Dr. Steve on Monday, February 1st, 2010 · Comments (20)

Most people will do good just to stand tall with this one.  It can be pretty intense.   This one may be a wake up call!  It targets the muscles and joint capsule in the front of your hip that can tip your pelvis forward and overload your back.  It also brings out tight quad […]

DNS-Oblique Sit

Posted by Dr. Steve on Monday, February 1st, 2010 · Comments (17)

This one is shot just outside of Phonix at Piestewa Peak Park (Formerly “Squaw Peak”) after a seminar with the Prague School team talking about “Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization” hence the DNS prefix.   It’s a fancy way of teaching the importance of respecting and being able to “re-awaken” the core stability you used to develop […]

Hamstring Reach

Posted by Dr. Steve on Monday, February 1st, 2010 · Comments (15)

Although it’s called a hamstring reach, if you follow instructions closely, you’ll feel everything from your hip all the way down to your feet.  Pay special attention to the foot position on this one because it makes the stretch amazing.  Great for heel pain issues as well.
