Push Away Lunge

Posted by Dr. Steve on Friday, January 15th, 2010 · Comments (30)

Module Two Mini-Circuit – Grooving Good Patterns

Posted by Dr. Steve on Friday, January 15th, 2010 · Comments (36)

Surprisingly…this one can get you huffing and puffing as you groove a good squat and a good lunge while working on balance and opening up your “key link” areas. Download Video   CWI Module Two Mini Circuit Snap Shot (PDF) Download PDF

Cat/Camel/Quadruped

Posted by Dr. Steve on Friday, January 15th, 2010 · Comments (42)

Pay attention to the fine details on this one. Not only does it help tremendously with back problems, it’s also fantastic for reversing head forward posture and the headaches, neck pain, TMJ, and other upper quarter issues that come with it. It also serves as a great shoulder exercise. Be sure to push away from […]

Seated Hip Stretch

Posted by Dr. Steve on Friday, January 15th, 2010 · Comments (9)

If you can cross your leg (ankle on top of opposite knee) without rounding your low back, then this stretch will be very powerful for you.   It not only stretches the piriformis and other hip muscles to relieve pain in your buttocks and legs, it also creates the ability to do a better squat […]

Hip Stretch On Back

Posted by Dr. Steve on Friday, January 15th, 2010 · Comments (12)

If you have trouble sitting “cross legged” then use this stretch as a “peel back” as opposed to the “Seated Hip Stretch”. You can also just slip this stretch in anytime you find yourself lying on your back! Download Video Download PDF

T4 Down Dog

Posted by Dr. Steve on Friday, January 15th, 2010 · Comments (29)

This one just feels awesome.  Be sure to do the modified version if you can’t get into the full expression of the movement because of tight hamstrings or calf muscles.   The goal is to get movement into your upper / mid back.  I often refer to this “T4” area as the “gold mine” for […]
